Violins for a Healthier Life?

I have spent most of today wondering what I am going to do after physics graduate school. Physics is really just something that I chose to study because it seemed interesting at the time. I have reached the point where I just don't find studying it fun anymore so I'm looking for a change.

I'm beginning to think that it might be time to get back into violinmaking for profit. I have a workshop set up in my house but I don't have the disipline to work there often enough. I think that if I rented a cheap office that I would build a lot more to be sure that it would pay for itself. Looking around Craigslist I found a couple office spaces that are priced within my reach. I started doing some quick calculations and realized that I only need to sell one or two violins a year to pay the rent! Or maybe guitars?

Then I did a more sobering calculation. If I cut back on my drinking (I didn't say quit drinking!) I could pay half my office rent with the money saved. If I cut back on eating fastfood at the campus food court I could more than cover the other half of the rent.
